Privacy
This site is run by Elliot Blackler in the UK. It collects very little, and this page says what, who handles it, and how to get something taken down. Last updated 12 September 2026.
What is collected
The submit form. When you send in a site, the form collects the website address, the trade, your name, your email address, the builder's name if you give it, and any notes. It also carries a timestamp, used once to tell a person from a script and not stored. Your name and email are used to reply to you about the submission and for nothing else. The contact form collects your name, email, a subject and your message.
Analytics. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, without fingerprinting and without following you to other sites. This site sets no cookies of its own.
Messages. A message sent through the contact form sits in the form inbox and my mailbox until it has been dealt with and is then deleted, unless there is a reason to keep it, such as a removal request that needs a record.
The MCP endpoint. An AI assistant connected through the MCP page sends search filters and, for free text searches, the words it searched for. Each call is logged with those filters, the number of results and the requesting IP address, in Cloudflare's Worker logs for up to 7 days, and the address is used to limit requests to 60 a minute. Nothing else from the conversation is sent here and nothing is stored beyond the logs.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts the site, runs the form handler and the MCP endpoint, and provides the analytics.
- Formspree receives each form submission, keeps a copy in its inbox and emails it to me, which is where it is read and acted on.
Nobody else receives the data, and none of it is sold or used for advertising.
Businesses featured on the site
An entry names a business, links to its public website, shows a screenshot of that site and carries a short written review. Where a builder is credited, the credit uses the name and address published on the site itself. When a site is added, the business may be emailed once at the public address on its website to say so.
The lawful basis for this is legitimate interests: publishing review and commentary on public web pages, and telling the owner that it has happened. Only information already published on the site is used. You can object at any time. Send the address of the site through the contact form and the entry comes down within 2 working days, no reason needed.
Screenshots
Screenshots are of public web pages as they appeared on the date shown under each one. They may include photos of people, customer reviews and names that the site itself publishes. If you appear in one and would rather not, or you own the site, say so through the contact form and the screenshot is removed within 2 working days. Screenshots are never offered for download.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Ask through the contact form and you will get an answer within 2 working days. If you are in the UK and are not happy with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
